Is this just another workout app?
A workout library asks an athlete to choose a program. D1 Performance builds one Blueprint around position, schedule, equipment, season mode, and readiness, then connects today’s training, fuel, recovery, and progress to that week.
How are Starter, Playmaker, and Game Changer different?
Every plan includes the connected system (the Blueprint, training, fuel, recovery, progress, and linked family visibility), with D1 Performance trainers involved on every plan. On Starter, a trainer checks in on the athlete every week and reviews every discomfort report within one business day. Playmaker adds trainer form checks on the athlete’s lifts. Game Changer adds a Dedicated Trainer by name and an open family thread with that trainer. Every plan can share the Recruit-Ready Profile as an image. Each plan bills monthly or annually, and annual is two months free.
How does the free trial work?
The trial lasts 7 days, starting once the athlete has finished setup in the app. A start on our website before then, by the athlete or a parent, waits for setup. It includes everything the app does on its own, but no trainer work. No card is required, and there is no automatic charge when it ends. Each athlete gets one trial. If the athlete chooses to continue, the selected paid plan starts through the web checkout. When every plan is full, new trials pause until a plan opens.
How is athlete data handled?
Training, fuel, and readiness data are used to run the athlete’s plan. They are never sold or used for advertising. A linked Parent or Guardian can see the athlete’s work. Account and data deletion can be started in the app or through support. Read the
Data Trust summary and
Privacy Policy.
Does the athlete need a full gym?
No. The Blueprint is built around the equipment available to the athlete. That can include a full gym, a more limited setup, or different access on different days.
How do cancellation and the guarantee work?
Cancellation stops the next renewal, and access continues through the paid term. If the athlete is not satisfied, request a full refund of the first paid charge within 14 days of that charge—no questions or hoops. The refund ends the plan, and a Founding 100 seat goes with it. This is a satisfaction guarantee, not a promise of results.
What ages and experience levels is this for?
D1 Performance is built for serious high school football development, centered on the years before recruiting decisions become urgent. The plan still responds to the athlete’s current experience, schedule, equipment, and readiness rather than assuming one level fits everyone.
